Whatever your roof needs.
From a quick leak fix to a full re-roof, a new build or a big commercial job, Paul Makuch Roofing has covered Waikato roofs since 1997. Homes, businesses, rural and light-industrial — long-run Colorsteel, metal tile, corrugated iron and membrane. Pick a service below to see exactly how we do it, or call Paul for a straight answer.

Re-roofs & replacements
When patching stops making sense, we replace the lot. Off comes the tired, rusting roof; on goes fresh long-run Colorsteel or metal tile — sorted, sealed and finished to outlast the mortgage.
- Long-run Colorsteel & metal tile re-roofs
- Full strip-off, new underlay, old roof taken away
- Backed by workmanship + manufacturer warranties

Roof repairs & leaks
A leak is never just where the drip lands. We track down what's actually letting water in — flashings, fixings, cracked tiles, rusted iron — and fix the cause, so it stays fixed.
- Leak detection & storm-damage repairs
- Flashings, ridging, valleys & rusted iron
- Fast callouts, tidy work, no mess left behind

New builds & architectural
Building or renovating? We roof and clad new homes and commercial jobs to the plan and the programme — clean detailing that still looks sharp in twenty years, handed over on time.
- Roofing & cladding for new homes
- Commercial, rural & light-industrial builds
- We work in with your builder's timeline

Spouting, gutters & maintenance
The unglamorous stuff that saves you thousands. New spouting and downpipes, gutter guard, and a proper roof-and-gutter clean — small jobs done well are what keep the big ones away.
- Spouting & downpipe install / replace
- Gutter guard to stop the leaf build-up
- Roof & gutter cleaning, moss & lichen treatment

Commercial & rural roofing
Sheds, warehouses, farm buildings and light-industrial — big long-run roofs done to programme. We work in with your builder or site manager and keep the operation running while we're up there.
- New roofs & re-roofs for commercial, rural & light-industrial
- Large-span long-run Colorsteel & membrane
- Minimal disruption, worked around your operation

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the service. I was touched that Paul would call in on a Sunday to make sure everything was OK when it was pouring with rain. The guys on site are doing a great job — I'll certainly be recommending you to anyone needing a new roof.

Roofing questions, answered.
The stuff Waikato homeowners ask us most. Can't see yours? Give us a call.
How much does a new roof or re-roof cost?
Every roof is different — size, pitch, access, the state of what's underneath and the material you choose all change the price. We come out, take a proper look and give you a free, no-obligation quote with no surprises later.
Should I repair my roof or replace it?
If it's a one-off leak or some tired flashings, a repair is usually the smart call. Once a roof is rusting through in several spots or past its years, patching just delays the inevitable. We'll tell you honestly which one you actually need — we won't sell you a new roof you don't.
How long does a re-roof take?
A standard house re-roof is usually a few days, weather permitting. We'll give you a clear timeframe with your quote and keep you posted if the Waikato weather has other ideas.
What roofing materials do you work with?
The lot — long-run Colorsteel, metal tile, corrugated iron, and membrane for flat and low-pitch roofs. We'll talk you through the options and what suits your place and budget.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We're a Licensed Building Practitioner and fully insured, and our work is backed by a workmanship guarantee plus the manufacturer's material warranty.
Do you do small jobs and repairs?
Absolutely — leaks, storm damage, flashings, a few cracked tiles, spouting and gutter cleaning. No job's too small, and sorting the little stuff early saves the big bills later.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in Pirongia and work across the Waikato — Te Awamutu, Hamilton, Cambridge and the surrounding towns. If you're nearby and not sure, just ask.
How do I get a quote?
Call us on 07 847 9785 or fill in the quote form and tell us what's going on up top. We'll usually get back to you the same day.
Not sure if it's a repair or a replace?
Flick us a photo of the roof and we'll tell you straight — no upsell, just an honest call.
